watched a show last night on Anita Oday man she is truly on of the great jazz singers . there is truly a lot of great stand up bass with her music.really love the jazz from 50s and 60s. jazz truly Americas music.got to love it.

Ah...a tribute to the ladies!!

As long as we're honouring the great lady singers....indulge me a couple of my faves...

Marlene Dietrich singing Lili Marlene - my late mother's name was Marlene, and we come from German/Irish heritage. I almost have the singing of this song in German down pat...almost...

Mostly I sing it in English, though...
