Hey all, I am new here. I have messed aroung with bass, guitar and drums for a year or so. I have decided to get serious about the bass, so I purchased TMBG. I am really happy with the program so far. My goal is to complete the program with the end result of being able to join a band and play well enough to contribute. I am 42 now,
so I am planning to try out for some local bands as soon as I feel ready. I like almost all types of music. I am looking forward to learning a lot from others on the forum.

I race motorcycles so if anyone is in Portland, OR check me out an OMRRA open superbike race.

Hello, Chuck - Welcome to TMBG and the Row. We all look forward to following your progress. Stay safe on your two-wheeler! My bike is an '83 GoldWing - which my wife calls my "mid-life crisiscycle." She's not much good for the kind of riding you do, but for a cruise along the Blue Ridge Parkway or the Red Coast Highway...!
Good to have you!
Ed.

I thought the dark side was Banjo?

Oh no, that's even a worse side than the dark side. :)

PM,
I ride as well. Currently have three Kawasakis, an owned since new 82 GPz550, an 84 KZ1100R Eddie Lawson Replica, and a 2003 ZRX1200R. The first two have lots of miles, but the 1200 is getting all the riding now.

No racing, but ride whenever the weather up here allows.
