This past Saturday I heard Brian Bromberg demo the B24 & B25 Carvin basses; amazing instruments and a joy to play on.

But that's not what I came to about (LOL)

He had an album that has not yet been released here in the US, I believe it's only Japan at the moment but he said it will be in the US soon. It's an album of Brian playing acoustic bass acapella and he solos and grooves with transitions that seem flawless. Had a gig in Camarillo, so I had plenty of time to listen to it and I was blown away the the musicality of his playing as well as the technically amazing stuff.

He recorded the Zepplin Black Dog and I listen to it over and over. Also he does the Neil Hefti Cute, King of Pain (The Police/Sting) Use Me (Bill Withers), In a Sentimental Mood, 15 tracks that if you like hearing Acoustic Bass solo, it is a dream come true. At least that's my take on it.
