hey guys My name is Steve. Im 36 yrs old and had always wanted to play bass, but couldt afford too. then, after a friend and my wife surprised me, I ended up with my first bass guitar last fall! i have been toying around with it for a while, sometimes seriously, other times just here and there, but now i really want to learn, and private lessons are way to expensive for me to follow up with. I plan on purchasing TMBG here in the next month or so (tried the other night to get it but our credit card expires in feb, so its up before the third payment would be due...figures, thats my luck LOL) so we are trying to get our bank to issue new ones early or we may have to wait unitl feb 1st.
anyway, i love what i see already and look forward to sharing my bass journey.
Also, i wanted to comment that as an adult with ADD who has struggled with it all my life, i think this method of learning is perfect!!! being able to stop, rewind and watch something again and then ask questions is HUGE!
