I Just picked up a used Italia Mondial Woody bass. It's got a humbucker on a passive circuit and a piezo in the bridge on a separate active circuit. Anyway, it came with a second humbucker which I intend to have installed near the bridge.
I'm looking for opinions for the wiring. I'm wondering whether. To use a V-V-T, Blend-V-T, or a selector switch and V-T on the passive circuit. Does it make any difference at all?
I'm still a newbie but I've bitten hard by the hardware bug. Here awesome pics to show what I'm looking at.

Here is a pic of the matching mondial woody guitar which should give an idea of what it may look like. The guitar uses a selector switch.
