Check out this video of the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra (it's not your typical orchestra). They play a mix of ska and jazz. I was quite surprised at how good this was. It may not be your style but the bass player had his groove on.

Enjoy,

Crazy!

Now, here's a question: how come JT's URL link works just fine, when others don't? What's the secret, JT?

I like the way each instrument has its own mood going on. Brass stands tall and bleats its cry to the sky. Pianos tickle and toy with the melody, guitar chops and cuts, percussion marches underfoot, and the bass just sneaks into all the empty spaces, dropping thunderballs to counter balance the sharp edges.

Eh....it was okay....:p

Yes, they are quite different. I listened a couple of times and they grow on you. The piano player definitely stands out as does the drums and brass (although brass is not at the top of my list even though I played trombone in H.S.). :D

Slej,

I just paste the URL directly into my post. I don't use the "Insert Link" button that's available in vBulletin.

Here's the link to the video pasted directly into the post.

Here's the link to the video using the "Insert Link" button.

Let's see what happens.

John

Hmmm, both methods seem to work for me. Go figure.

One more test using the vBulletin URL button.

Suikinkutsu (http://www.punknews.org/article/40418)

Ok, typed the name, highlighted it, used the URL button to assign a URL to it.

Let's see if this works.

John

Ok, this worked too. Not sure what is going on but there seems to be bugs in the system.

You are money, my friend! We should all log in as you ... er, um, okay, I guess that wouldn't work too well. Entire forum would be you talking to yourself. ;)
