For those of you that are Pink Floyd fans (Elmo), here is a site I ran across that gives a complete analysis of "The Wall", song by song. It explains the lyrics to every song and identifies who sang the part. Also included are some pictures from the movie. Allocate some serious time to read it all or bookmark and come back to it. Just from what I read, it was facinating to understand the thinking that went into the lyrics and how some if it related to the lives of the lyricists.

Another great Wall page. There are so many, each author with his own thoughts and feelings. This one is based heavily on the film.

My own personal fave bit of the Wall album comes in the form of the line:

"Did you ever wonder why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath the clear blue sky?"

It boils with notions of fear, deception, expectation, government manipulation, history, hope...

It's the scariest line in the whole work IMHO.
