    We're a bit behind the curve for this announcement, but better late than never!!

    Marshall Amplification Purchases Eden

    Eden is excited to announce that it is now part of the Marshall Amplification group. The team at Eden are looking forward to the renewed drive and resources that this move will bring to the company and is looking forward to working with Marshall. Eden would like to personally thank Jim Marshall for recognizing the importance of the Eden brand and is looking forward to the opportunities that this new partnership will bring.

    Eden Bass Is Acquired by the Marshall Amplification Group


    Eden is pleased to announce that it has now become part of the Marshall Amplification group. The sale of Eden to Marshall Amplification sees the Marshall Group expand further and will provide exciting new opportunities to the Eden Brand. The sale was finalised on December 22, 2011.

    In commenting on the purchase of Eden, Jonathan Ellery, Managing Director of Marshall stated “We are very pleased to be able to add this revered brand to our business. We feel that Eden is a great strategic fit within our Marshall Amplifier line and therefore we have the opportunity to increase the Eden brand’s presence worldwide. We are prepared to invest in the development of new products and to expand the awareness of the brand.”

    In commenting on how the Eden Brand will be managed, Ellery stated that Luke Green has been named the Brand Manager for Eden. Luke has been part of the Marshall family for several years and will now run the Eden interests for Marshall worldwide.

    In discussing his new role, Luke said, “I am very excited about the opportunity to guide the growth and development of one of the best brands in the music industry. The current Eden team will continue to be part of the company. With the resources that the Marshall Group will be able to offer we plan to really take Eden forward and continue to develop exciting new equipment for bass players.”

      Yeh, we're waiting to see if this move re-ignites Eden. Been in the doldrums since USM purchased it and David left. Older products were/are fantastic, newer stuff (since USM) not so good.

      Truly hoping that they get back to concentrating on rebuilding the high end brand they were under David.

      If not, there is always the DNS cabs and the new Helix amp from David's new company www.dnaamps.com
