      Hmmm . . . bring everything else, but extra set of strings - have to think about that. I generally have two basses along so have an immediate backup, but strings - I'm thinking. Did take strings along to an 8 day long gig I did last summer, but that was because I was 100 miles away from anywhere to pick up bass strings.
