Roy Vogt and Adam Nitti are presenting two nights of back to back Bass at the Nashville Summer NAMM on Friday July 13 and Saturday, July 14 at Douglas Corner Café, 2016 8th Ave. South, Nashville, TN 37204 www.douglascornercafe.com
Some of the finest bassists in the country are appearing with proceeds going to the W.O. Smith Community Music School www.wosmith.org as a memorial gift to honor the late Charles Dungey, legendary Nashville bassist and music educator. Tickets are $10 for each night and are available at the door.
The Stellar lineup for Friday night’s Second Annual Thunder Row Bass Bash (hosted by Roy Vogt and his Urban Legend Band) includes:
Darren Michaels

After having Darren open the show last year with his beautiful and ethereal looped soundscapes we had to have him back for more.
David Pastorius
www.davidpastorius.com
David was a surprise guest last year and he combines the best of his uncle with some of his own game. If you can’t catch him with 518 in Florida here’s a good chance to see him do his thing.
Keith Horne http://www.instituteofbass.com/archi...s/horne_keith/
For nearly 2 decades Keith was a mainstay in the Nashville Music Scene with The Wooten Brothers, Tanya Tucker, Peter Frampton, Trisha Yearwood and Hot Apple Pie (where he contributed one of the only slap solos on Country Radio!). Now relocated to Virginia, Keith’s appearance will remind everyone in Nashville and NAMM visitors why he was everyone’s favorite bassist with a great combination of groove and jaw-dropping chops.
Tim Smith and the Detroit Memphis Experience

With great musicianship, Soul and a very funky groove, Tim’s band brings a breath of fresh backbeat to the proceedings. Tim has provided groove for Bonnie Bramlett, Bill Evans, Sir Tom Jones and too many others to mention and his band is absolutely great!
