  • TMBG - A Day In Bass Player Court

When it's released, the September issue of Bass Player Magazine will feature a new review of Teach Me Bass Guitar, and from the sound of things, reviewer E.E. Bradman thinks TMBG and teacher Roy Vogt are just the ticket to take students down (and down) the right path of bass instruction.

Here's an excerpt from the article:

"Nashville is where every flavor of American music - from R&B, Rock, and Blues to Soul, Bluegrass and Gospel - co-exists alongside the city's best known exports, Pop and Country. It makes sense, then, that this comprehensive yet down-home instructional DVD box set comes from Music City resident Roy Vogt, an experienced touring and session player with a
Master's degree in electric bass performance from the University of Miami. Clearly, Vogt, an adjunct professor at Nashville's Belmont University for three decades, loves playing, loves teaching, and is very good at both."

To read the entire article, get your copy of September's Bass Player Magazine by visiting your local store, or by ordering your subscription online.

And don't forget to visit Teach Me Bass Guitar online and learn why Roy's DVD instructional bass course is ranked No. 1 in the world!

Thanks, Bass Player Magazine! And big kudos to Roy for being the type of bassist the bassists admire!

OK people that get Bassplayer Magazine What do you like about it? Why do you think I should get it are look at it again?
Nothing bad here but myself I lost interest in the mag about a year ago, but mind you I had ever mag except maybe
2 issues since it's conception but lost interest in it. So I was just wondering what's up with it lately?
It just seemed the basically the same thing every month except for the trans I loved. And speaking of trans, I'm thinking I
lost interested in it when I used to get the magazine Guitarist (CDorDVD with mag) when they also covered everything
you would want to learn etc concerning bass, trans, sounds, lessons!! I'm mean everything you could want!!
Man I miss that mag!!!! I also have everyone of them still saved on hard drives!! Anybody ever get that mag back then?
I know there's Bass Guitar mag but there not the same anymore. Well I guess I'm still in the 70's and a sight and sound
guy I need Cd's DVD etc. And congrats TMBG
