I am tempted by this but would much prefer a physical cd. Do you know if there are any plans to release such a thing?

Hope it is out in physical form soon.

I'm with Art. I much prefer to have a CD to hold in my hands and file on my shelf.

Not really happy with relying on my computer to be the only repository of my music/pictures.

      Too many "outages" happen.

I try to get "hard copy" of music myself, but much of the time the music I want is not available on CD, or is crazy priced due to the fact that I live in the US but am very fond of many bands from Europe and elsewhere. When getting a CD copy is impractical, I burn the mp3s to a CD using windows media player. It is quite easy and blank CDs are very cheap now. Verbatim makes blank CDs that look like little vinyl records which I think is pretty cool too.

The problem with self-burned CDs is the quality of the discs. I don't know it for Verbatim but they are around since the ages of the floppy disk so I guess they are decent quality.

However I have a range of discs that don't work anymore or are flawed (and some are big brand products). so they long life they predict for CD-R is not what I see in real life.

      Anyway,
I've got the CD Baby download to support Lane, but I'm certainly going to buy the physical disc once it arrives in the stores. But I have the opposite problem of Kimgee since I'm in Europe these INDIE records are a bit more expensive due to import tax.

Oh, and you might want to purchase the discs from Lane (his website) since he offered signed copies when purchasing "Dig The Hole" from his site (he has no control over CD Baby or other physical retailers) so I guess he'll do the same for TVFH

I talked to lanebaldwin Tuesday and it will be on solid CD when sales indicate that it is a good idea. Do not wait this is a great CD. Very interesting and it is Lane at his best.
