From the article:
"Mark Bombard writes:
This is a custom 30.75″ short scale bass. I started with a 1966 Hagstrom bass neck with their classic I-beam truss rod. I replaced the Rosewood fretboard, frets, inlays, I reshaped the peghead from a Fender style 4-L to a 2-L & 2-R configuration. I also put Blue LED’s behind the mother of pearl fret markers. This is a semi hollow body. The total weight is only 7.7 pounds. There is also a removable pad on the back. It has a Bartolini neck jazz pickup, a Hofner Icon pickup for that classic rock sound and a Rogue bridge pickup along with a Bartolini 3-band pre-amp."
