  • Seymour Duncan Lemmy Kilmister Signature Pickups

    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

We started with carefully analyzing the pickups in the bass of Lemmy Kilmister and then made them even ruder - that’s right, even more attack and punch - while also making sure they had plenty of clarity under heavy distortion. The results are three unique pickups, each hand-built in the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop and available in individual neck, middle or bridge models, or as a complete set in two or three pickup combinations Available in either a direct mount for Lemmy Signature Basses or pickguard mount for traditional Rickebacker® basses.

    LEMMY KILMISTER SIGNATURE PICKUPS

The sound of Motörhead with all the rudeness and attack you'd expect.

You can choose from Neck, Middle, or Bridge positions, or buy in sets: (Neck/Middle/Bridge) or (Neck/Bridge)

From Top: Neck, Middle, and Bridge position pups

Traditional Pickguard Mount or Direct Mount

If you choose traditional mounting, you can choose between bridge types: Covered or Open-coil.

Cover choices are Gold or Nickel.

    $175.00 USD

Well, Nicki, as our resident Rick fan, these might be just the thing to change up your sound for the new year.
Or they might just get you fired from your regular coffee house gig.

I totally agree with you harleyman888. I never listened to motohead before that clip.........and never will again. I am not sure what that noise was, but it wasn't what I would call music. I could reproduce that "sound" by filling a discarded 50 gal. drum with glass bottles, tin cans, and bowling balls and rolling it down a steep hill.

PS: I am sure those are nice pickups though, and sound great when someone plays them, rather than wildly flails on them.

Owch! Not a big Lemmy fan, I see.

Screaming into a mike while a train wreck occurs in the background just doesn't do much for me, other than hurt my ears. It's not like I dislike loud or hard rock music. I am quite fond of The Red Hot Chili Peppers' maniacal bass whacker, Flea, in fact. His playing that is, not his rather curious behavior. But what Motorhead was doing.......I would not classify as music. Ever.

I love my 4003 too much to change out the PUPs, but those are cool! I love Motorhead.

      get off my lawn...

Party with Lemmy on his way to the bank.

I am still waiting to be approached about the panhead signature pickups. Excuse me while I go out to the mailbox and check for the letter.

I did not mean to offend anyone with my Motorhead bashing. I mean, obviously some people like them or they would no longer be damaging ear drums for profit. But, if wealth was any indication of talent .......... all us TR members could retire!

Offended? Not me. I love it! I'm just glad the topic isn't about Justin Bieber.

How about the Kardashians? I wonder why they haven't started a band yet. They sure have the bass lines covered, what with all that bottom end they have on tap.

I've often wondered how the Kardashians ever got categorized as a reality show. Their lives are one huge, twisted fantasy... When it comes to basses, I would say that, in their case, the 'B' is silent.
