Looks like an interesting expose. Where would one find this documentary?

Unfortunately, I don't think the project was ever completed, due to lack of funding. But if you go to the Twitter link above, they do feature enough clips to make music loving people hang their heads in sadness.

I am keenly aware of this mess that the music industry is in. Artists end up doing endless gigs to small crowds to attempt to support themselves, while millions enjoy their music for free, and a small number of music "distributors" make all the money there is.
I have never, and never intend to download anyone's music for free.

That is one of the reasons that I have, and continue to add to, a large collection of physical CDs and vinyl records. I am hoping that the artists get at least a portion of the proceeds. To that end, I have begun purchasing, whenever I can, physical media from the artists themselves, so they will get as much as possible.

Just trying to cut out the middleman

I hear vinyl is making a big comeback. That's nice. I like that. Big cover art. Warm sound. I also read that real books are making a comeback too. People who love holding a real book in their hands are speaking with their wallets!

We have several stores here that specialize in vinyl. Just had a big vinyl record day with huge sales on. The new ones are quite pricey, and the interest is even pushing up the price of used records.
