This time, I just want to have a look at the UNPLUGGED version of BEDS ARE BURNING, by MIDNIGHT OIL.
This is not my standard fare of 70s music, but this 1987 entry into the bass world was a driving monster of thunder.
I'd already known the regular studio version for some time, but when I saw the unplugged version, the first thing that got me out of my seat was that yummy acoustic bass! (The thunder from another mother). Any time a bass other than an electric makes its appearance, I always take notice.
The driving rhythms of this unplugged version should be enough to get you on your feet for some butt-swangin' good times!
