Does anybody know of a device that will generate a Drone note background sound ( of any note/key I choose) to play with while generating a spacific drum beat ie: 80bpm or 100bpm, or any bpm speed I select. ?

ie: a background of Cm with a 78bpm.

Help Please

There are quite a few virtual drum machines online, but I don't know of any that also produce a drone tone.

Maybe what you need is a midi sequencer (virtual or actual piece of equipment), which can definitely do both.

Back in the old days, we used matchbooks to wedge the keys of a B3 organ down for a chord drone. You can buy pretty inexpensive (casio, yamaha etc.) portable keyboards with drum patterns built in. You could get a drum pattern going and pick a keyboard sound that sustains (organ or horns or strings etc.) and wedge the keys down to the chord you want to drone.

True! I have some impressive drum sounds on my Casio. My ZOOM B3 also has a bunch!
