    Hi Ed,

There still seems to be a problem with the Forum. Trying to post or reply to a post returns these error messages.

New thread submission gives database error; "reply to thread" says thread is invalid

Not sure if folks are aware of this problem.

    Thanks,
    John
  3. Hi, John - I got these too late for this edition, but will include them in the next update (probably March). My thanks for your sharp eye!

    Hi Ed,

As I was going throught Lesson 4 I found a few errors that I didn't catch the first time through. Here they are.

Page 7, the header says DVD2, Lesson 3 - should be Lesson 4.

Page 7, Mid-Neck Blues, measure 14, the last note should be 8th fret, not 13th fret.

Page 7, Mid-Neck Blues, measure 25, note shows Bb on 1st fret on A string, Roy plays it on 6th fret of E sting.

While I'm at it, here is what I found for Lesson 7.

    Lesson 7
Page 1, NOTE: graphic, should the “steps” say “whole-steps” so there is no confusion on the part of the reader.

Page 2, para. 1, sentence 3 – “Since we’re placing” should be “Since we’re playing”.

Page 2, “Sharps Going Up” graphic – on the G string, the A and A# should be G# and A.

Page 2, “Flats Coming Down” graphic – the F on the A string should be Gb.

Page 4, para. 2 – This is a fun “chart” should be “song” or “tune”.

That’s it. On to Chapter 8.

    Ed,

For some reason I just have knack for finding errors. My former boss and some of my associates at work constantly send me things to review before they publish or email out. My daughter uses me as her editor for school papers also.

I'll take a look at the next few chapters this weekend.
