My new family member

This baby just arrived last Friday, love the sound and the looks but must be modified for comfort. the pick up cover has to go. already found a replacement part to hide the hole and give a resting place for my thumb.

Wow that is so cool that you would be willing to do that because all the tablatures for the songs I want to learn have not been available or wrong. I have five right off the top of my head and they are really good bass songs.
I'm your Captain Grand Funk, some Chicago and definitely Blood Sweat and Tears, Not scared of dying etc... I am old school guys. Styx has some good stuff also. Happy New Year

Hey d mac, just stay focused and cool. I have watched so many crazy lesson plans for Bass on the net that my head began to hurt. never set yourself up to fail brother. don't rush it, stay on lesson one until you are clean with it. then move on and read the chapters and practice the outlines until you are comfortable. rushing yourself is not good you can not digest what is being taught. I am still gaining my badges on my finger tips from not playing for 30 years. trust me I understand frustration.

Lennon was was a music genius as is McCartney. What folks don't really understand is the factor of real change here with these two guys. Although simple cords and 4/4 beats together they changed music and it has not had another change since them. there was Sinatra in the 40's, ten years later came Elvis and Buddy Holly, ten years later the Beatles and that is where the progression of music stopped.
