Exactly. Individuality.

Thanks guys!
This is awesome. Great bass, great tone, great playing. Did I say this was AWESOME!
I find the sound thick as thieves, like the P Bass we all know and love! Distinctive flat-wound sound. I have a "P-STYLE" bass (different brand), and the neck is like a baseball bat. Heaviest bass I own. Great video!
Ahhhh . . . nice!

I recorded this awhile back and should have listened on a few sources before posting. I've replaced the original video with one where the bass is more upfront in the mix...thanks for the feedback, TobiasMan!

'62 Fender American Vintage Precision Bass I've had this bass for several years now and of all the basses I bought within my first couple years of playing, it's the only one that I've never really considered selling/trading. Yes, it's a little heavy and the neck is a thicker than my other four-string basses, but hands down it's still my favorite bass to play. I've strung it with everything from brightest roundwounds to the most mellow flatwounds, but have settled on D'Addario flatwounds which give me the tone I'm looking for a lot of the old-school music I like to play. Great bass, imho. Here it is in action jamming to a some old-school, bluesy Soul (and, yes, mistakes were made ):
