You are a PROUD moon, Sir Ralph. But having Ashley ask you to escort her shopping should make you even prouder!!!
She doesn't want Ralph for his company - when her feet get tired, she sits on him like one of those rubber exercise balls.
It's a functional thing.
Nicely done, Ashley.
Sir Ralph:
Are you suggesting there is a down side to your present situation?
Trade???
Hey! I'm doin' the kid a favor lettin' her carry my bags and shleppin' around my Ampeg. Don't go givin' her ideas!
Sir Ralph. (Nice to be in a place they appreciate the title!)
Well, it's over. The FELBGS (First Ever London Bass Guitar Show) - they're going to have to find themselves another acronym - is history! But it was great. I finally extracted Ashley from Herrod's, only to loose her in Sainsbury's - hope she makes the plane home! Otherwise, I rolled the aisles of the bass, the whole bass, and nothing but the bass, while Ed. hob-nobbed in the Green Room with Stu Hamm, Dave Marks, Marco Mendoza, TM Stevens, Laurence Cottle, Janek Gwizdala, Gary Willis, and Geoff Gascoyne - and others who were dying to make my acquaintance, but I had other things to do; namely, seek out new and exciting products to share with you. Anyway, Ed. has video workshops, and concerts with these guys as well as exclusive tips just for Thunder Rowers! These should be available beginning next week.
So, the show was a great success all around - but what IS it about bass players and black? Black boots, black jeans, black shirts with skulls on them, black overcoats. Is there some kind of bass guitar fashion police I don't know about? (TM Stevens surely stood out!) Maybe we should have Roy do a special disc on Fashion for the Bass!
Sir Ralph
