    Default Wooten Book

    Just curious.
Has anyone read or actively reading the Victor Wooten book "The Music Lesson"?
I am most the way through it.
Thoughts, opinions, like - not ??

I love the book. It is warm, light and very soulful. The way he addresses Music as a living being is fresh and inspiring.

This book will NOT be everybody's cup of tea. Victor's inward-reflection approach will be hard for some to accept (hey, just want to play the bass, right? ). But if you choose to make a personal connection with music THROUGH your bass, this book will show you some interesting insight.

    Peace, Phil.

I read it when I was laid up with my shoulder.

Bit unusual, but all in all, an enjoyable read. I don't know if it will help with learning to play, but it was sure food for thought.
