    It's obvious to me - a "Thunder" of basses!

    Congratulations, Art. Santa may have let you down, but that strange guy in the brown outfit sure came through! Also, thanks for the comments on the mini-bass. I first saw one of those at NAMM in Nashville a couple of years ago and was blown away. Not only is it the perfect bass for very young beginners, it's perfect for those who find the heft of a traditional bass debilitating. I haven't heard much in the way of slap, pop, and funk from them (which is not to say they're not capable of producing those effects) but they sure produce a great, warm - but not muddy - sound. HINT: My birthday's in April....

    Nice! I bought a Lakland Skyline with a j-neck and p-body. Itīs wonderful to play.
