YA, that's right, also depending on how good of a unit you played them on, then you could play your bass to the songs with QUARTER round bass strings!!! Hee!! Hee!!!

Annnnnnnnnd. I'm now officially in a band. Well, not sure it's officially a band yet, we need a drummer but you get the idea. Went over and played tonight with the guitarist and he said I was the best bass player he's played with in 10 years. I don't know what bassists he's played with the last 10 years but I took it as a compliment. There wasn't a drummer so I took the lead on keeping time and he was very impressed with the steadyness of it. Adreneline is still pumping.
Thanks, Roy and crew. Owe it all to you guys.
Way to go Troy, just remember that feeling you had when you walked onto the stage for The Wall concert, and get yourself ready to live with it, you realise we'll all be waiting for video of your first gig, congratulations again.

Thanks Soul. We did a practise tonight and again, just freakin amazing the rush it is to play with other people. After a couple hours I felt drained, exhausted, in a very very good way. Officially an addict now. Did one song, can't remember which one, 3 different ways. Country, rock, and very slow melodic style. What a blast! I really feel like I was put on this Earth to play Bass.

Band is coming together great, we have a drummer now. What a whole new world it is to play with other musicians, learning in leaps and bounds right now and it's all coming together very well. Going to get started on Jimi Hendrix' Voodoo Child tomorrow.
