Default Skin DEEP - Back In Black

The Phantom Luxman Metal Guru Bass is turning out to be a formidable competitor! Must be her dangerous good looks! Sleek black lines, beautiful hardware (so very un-gold), and lotsa bad attitude!

She gave the Jerzy Drozd a run for her money, and crossed the finish line with a final score of 10 - 7. The Drozd fought hard, but it was not to be.

So, here we go again. Hmm, I wonder what Michael Tobias might bring to the party. How about the MTD Andrew Gouche Signature Bass?

She's a 24-fret, 35 inch scale bass with an alder body, maple burl top and neck, and lacquered purpleheart fingerboard.

The matching head adds just the right amount of class! And with her beautiful black and chrome hardware and twin pups, this bass is classic MTD, through and through.

The competition is now in your hands, Thunder Row!

Yes, Maggie. Skin DEEP is a game of OUTER beauty, where we acknowledge the work of those who design how a bass will look.

Beauty only - no brand loyalty, no technical stuff on how the bass plays or feels...just looks!

I'm sticking with the Phantom again.

I dislike the colour of purpleheart, and I'm really not loving the matchy-matchy going on with the control knobs.
