    Welcome to the "5'r" club.

The B on a long scale bass is something to hear, especially if you have the rig to properly reproduce it!!!!

    Thanks all,

YEA, My first one and I play a MESA BOOGIE 600 watt amp, I was hitting that low B and the THUNDER was amazing. My kids bedroom is right above the garage and they came out saying WHOA! It is a penetrating low.

I have tried playing our set of songs but it will take some getting used to. The strings are very far apart comparred to the Fender JAZZ. I don't know any songs that require a 5 as we converted everything. I did start running scales from the B.

The neck and headstock are why I bought this one. The Birdseye Maple is awesome looking. The string through body bridge makes the sustain so long, I hit that LOW B and it rings forever.... AND IT IS ACTIVE! The punch is heart stopping
