    Default Tip for transcription

this tip comes from the daily hint section of The Amazing Slowdowner.

If you are having trouble picking the bass line out of the mix, try raising the pitch up an octave. I tried this on one song where the bass was buried in the middle (L-R) and some guitars. It worked like a charm. Granted the singers sound like the chipmunks, but none the less.

Also try "Transcribe!" - an amazing piece of software that isolates the bass (or any instrument) both aurally and visually.

There is a trial version available.

Sounds good. I use Songsterr, too. It's only an artificial regeneration of a bass, but it works!
