Seriously, I thought the Fender would have been secure on the top of the mountain for AT LEAST a couple more weeks! But, as it turned out, the Luthman Lady M 5-String Bass was just purty enough to boot the Dimension bass off the top of the heap! The final score was 7-5 for the Lady, and so, she takes her place on the throne.
So, this shiny Luthman is ready to face her first contender as Champ. I know all you Thunder Row people appreciate a good slab of wood - often, it's a simple thing, like the finish, or the body shape, that will make or break a winner's status.
This week, we have a delightful bass with a natural oil finish. Compared to that glossy sheen of the Luthman, this bass has a much more down to earth look.
Meet The Warwick Thumb 5 String Bass.
She's a 24 fret, 34" scale treat with a Bubinga body
