In last week's competition, the Luthman Lady M 5-String Bass retained the crown, defeating the Warwick Thumb 5-String Bass in a vote of 7-3! That makes Lady M the second bass to keep the title for more than one week! Woo Hoo!
Okay, I've done this kind of thing before, and now seemed like the perfect time to set up this kind of match again. This week is gonna be Luthman vs Luthman.
Say hello to the Luthman Jazzette 4. I picked her because she's got the wood grain I know our members love, and no matchy-matchy pickups!
She's a completely different design from her big sister, the Lady M, and doesn't feature the top-over-body, two wood design. The Jazzette's body is a single wood type, and I know there's a taste for each type out there.
34" Scale
21 Frets
Ash body
Bolt-on neck in Maple
Maple fretboard
Ebony nut
Dots: Mother of Pearl
Finish: Burgundy Satin Gloss
Hardware: Chrome
I LOVE that aggressive headstock! Wow!

But does the Jazzette 4 have what it takes to unseat the champion, Lady M?

The voters will decide!
