    I know he's been given his due here and there, but I'll still say Verdine White of Earth, Wind and Fire...his bass lines can be in your face and/or sneaky subtle while always enhancing the groove. Love his stuff.

    wow I know a lot of guys that are amazing but chose to stay close to home and remain anonymous .
