Default Went to a guitar store today

Today I went to a guitar store in The Hague, the Netherlands and I spotted some nice basses including a Ibanez SR Premium 1205e, a Lakland Skyline 5501 and a Yamaha TRB1006.

I never played on some of them and they all sounded great and were easy to play. I have to say that although I'm not really a fan of Yamaha basses, the TRb1006 played amazing. Smooth neck, small string spacing (16.5 mm if I'm correct) and it balanced well.

Now the fun part is that it's easier for me to move around on a 6 string bass guitar neck than on a 4 string bass guitar neck. My hand positions improved a lot and it felt pretty weird to get back at 4 strings again. Any one else has some sort of experience with this?

I play my 5 and 6 string basses most of the time.

Have to remember to move up and down the neck instead of across the neck for extended notes when I'm back on my 4 string.

Obviously, can't move down the neck to get the B string notes, but can go up.
