Good to hear from you, Donnie. I'm partial to the Capitals myself, but we'll see how everything shakes out (not holding my breath)!

Jets fever is rampant around here. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a white jersey.

Hockey. The arena has been overflowing with peeps in white, supporting the team.

Oh, the slidey one with the helmets, rather than the runny one with the helmets.

I just can't keep up with these modern games....

. . . Or the one where guys run around in shorts, frequently acting like someone has caused them a heinous injury when they fall down and then they periodically slide on the grass on their knees or run around with their shirts over their heads. Not sure I get it, but I hear it is sometimes referred to as the "glorious game".

I know, any game without a proper tea interval is just SO uncivilised.....

But, some of those games take days to finish . . . but my daughter-in-law tells me they are very civilized.

Spent several hours watching one of those games when I was down in New Zealand. Couldn't tell who was playing where, who was winning or how to keep score. BTW, it still wasn't done when I left.
