    Default BB King gone

Sad news. An icon of blues and guitar playing generally has passed away.

    RIP BB

The only thing sadder than the loss of this great musician is all the scrapping and fighting I've read about - concerning his family - over his estate. Shameful.

    RIP, BB.

I read this very sad news this morning on a news site. "The Thrill is Gone" is one of the first blues songs that I learned since I started playing at the Central Virginia Blues Society jams last year. It's one of the songs that I play almost every day as part of my blues set playlist. He was, indeed, King of the Blues.
