Interesting instrument to see. Probably no need for a truss rod with strings on both sides of the neck.
Don't think I'll be ordering one though.

You raise a valid point Tobiasman. In fact, there would be no way to adjust the relief in the neck it seems. And a bit of neck relief is essential to getting the action low with no fret buzzing. If you set a bit of relief on one side, the other side would be unplayable without very high action. I suppose it is possible that the fretboards are pre-shaped or carved so that there is relief on both sides, but any adjustment would not be possible I don't think. It looks like an absurdity to me..........but what do I know.
