I find Roy's comment about not overdoing coffee to be a very interesting one. I never would have thought drinking coffee could play an important role. Live and learn!
Jeff Berlin also has an interesting point-of-view on this. He claims that it's better NOT to do exercises (like the Varigrip, I guess) since it will hurt your playing and playing by itself is training/exercise enough).
But he's called "Controversial" since he also advises NOT to use a Metronome (there is no "click time" in music) and not to work on your "chops".
Anyway, I've got a DVD by him somewhere around here and he does make some statements that are the exact opposite of what most people are telling us to do.
Maybe a good idea to include him in the next round ??
Jeff is definitely on the list of people we'll be including in our discussions. We have quite a few who have agreed to join in.
